Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
All payments are taken through Paypal and all related security is handled by Paypal. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back-ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
Purchase Orders
Purchase orders can only be accepted by prior agreement. Please contact us to confirm this. All purchase orders must include delivery address, invoice address, goods, prices, delivery price, quotation number and credit card surcharge if applicable. Purchase orders should be signed by the authorising person. Please note that we perform full identity and credit checking.
Conditions of Order
1. Goods are NOT sold on a 'sale or return' evaluation basis. Please make sure that you order carefully.
2. Orders can be cancelled at any point prior to despatch without penalty. However, if you cancel and the goods have been despatched you will be charged a 25% restocking fee. We do not exchange products once delivered.
3. If goods arrive damaged or in non-working condition, then we must be notified within 2 working days to arrange replacement. The manufacturer's warranty takes effect after this 2 day period.
4. For next day deliveries on first time orders we require payment clearance by 2pm.
5. Please do not book installation of equipment before goods have arrived and have been fully tested. We accept no liability for installation or other cost incurred in the case of late delivery. Courier delays, manufacturer supply problems, etc, are beyond our control.
Shipping And Handling
Shipping and handling costs are based on courier costs and are simply a reflection on what we are charged for delivery.
Delivery Schedule
We endeavour to have your goods shipped the same day the order arrives - provided this is before 2pm. You should receive your goods the following day provided there are no courier or weather-related issues. Should the item(s) you ordered be out of stock, we will advise you of the expected delivery day in order that you can decide whether you wish to proceed with the order.
Force Majeure
David Twigg Joinery is not liable for delays in delivery or cancellation of your order caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Examples: supplier transport, manufacturer's production problems, governmental action and natural disasters. If any delay lasts for more than 2 months, then this Agreement may be terminated by either party without compensation.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Credit Card Security
This is handled entirely by PayPal and all security is enforced by PayPal.
Guarantee
Some products come with a manufacturer's guarantee. This varies from product to product but it is worth noting the guarantee period for your own peace of mind.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Returns Policy
Goods can only be returned if they prove to be faulty, and as such will be replaced with a like for like product. Please ensure you take care when placing your order as we do not accept returns based on anything other than faulty or 'dead' goods.
After taking delivery, we have a window of up to 48hrs where we are prepared to accept returns, after that point returned goods cannot be accepted under any circumstances.
